There are three ocean facing suites with direct access to a sea side hiking trail. Each room has a balau deck with magnificent ocean and mountain views. Rooms are luxurious with private access, under floor heating and satellite TV. Concertina doors open the rooms to the ocean. Beds are king size with luxurious linen, down duvets and fluffy pillows to whisk you off to dreamland. The spacious bathrooms are ensuite with Victorian baths and pebble floor showers.
A heated splash pool in the sheltered courtyard is an ideal remedy for those hot summer days.
Kleinzee is centrally situated to enjoy all the activities the Overberg has to offer. A convenient 5 min drive takes you to Gansbaai Town, known as the big two town for it’s Great White Shark cage diving industry and spectacular whale watching. Kleinbaai harbour where shark cage diving and whale watching vessels depart is a mere 10 minutes drive from the guesthouse. Hike to the nearby Walker Bay nature reserve with its own sheltered swimming bay and caves of archaeological interest. Explore the rugged coast line via sea-kayak, go for cave tours (1 minutes walk away) or simply relax on your own private deck.
De Kelders is approximately 180 km’s drive from Cape Town airport and 40 km’s drive from Hermanus. A shuttle service from the airport to Hermanus with car hire in Hermanus is available.
